Welcome!
Hello! My name is Anthony, and I am a recent graduate of William Paterson University, located in Wayne, New Jersey. I originally entered as a transfer student into the biology program, however, destiny had other plans for me. I ended up changing my major to Communications with a focus on Public Relations, and never looked back. I began my internship career working alongside the department director of our campus's Accessibility and Resources Department. The director and I conducted confidential student interviews to survey prevalent mental and physical disabilities on campus to better determine what we could implement to assist.
I have currently been working on and off within the restaurant industry as a server and bartender for more than four years, which has allowed me to hone and strengthen my communication skills while learning how to read and engage with people daily, adequately, and organically. My ideal career goal is to work in a field where I can truly make a positive impact. I would love a career in public relations, volunteering coordination, or marketing that would allow me to advocate for marginalized communities such as the LGBTQ and Disabled communities as well as the many other minority groups (such as African Americans, Hispanics, Asians, however not limited to) in dire need of advocation and positive public relations representation. I see myself working alongside organizations and public figures, helping expand their knowledge and perceptions of equality while working together to implement better protocols to ensure justice for all. I am big on activism, and I would love a career that will allow me the ability to continue pursuing it.
